A person’s sense of freedom is one of the most important things he or she can have.
Parents have difficulty respecting this. They think they know best for their child, and advocate, bother, and even command their children to do what they want them to do.
Those parents need to learn how to educate their children without seeming controlling. Don’t lose your temper when your child does something wrong; there’s plenty of other people to do that. Don’t complain either; express your concern in a reasonable manner.
If your child is not “doing well” in life, then it is the fault of the person who raised them. Don’t take it out on the child. Take action to improve their future.
Be a good example to your child.
